They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Krzysztof Makomaski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Artur Walczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Przychodz SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Walczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Domarecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Przychodz SSA echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Virtus Warszawa had held the ball for most of the match.
