In the 8th minute, Roman Huchro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŁKS Łódź fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Manchester United Rumia's Julian Dubilas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Manchester United Rumia's Witalis Jaraczewski got control of the ball when Roman Huchro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Manchester United Rumia's goalkeeper Witalis Jaraczewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Huchro. Zenon Bycofski took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomil Rywin. Radomil Rywin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Witalis Jaraczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Huchro in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, ŁKS Łódź's Zbigniew Balonek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Witalis Jaraczewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United Rumia's zone, Zbigniew Balonek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Jaraczewski came out of the goal and Zbigniew Balonek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Bogumil Chazen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witalis Jaraczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bogumil Chazen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witalis Jaraczewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Manchester United Rumia's Witalis Jaraczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Chazen in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Bogumil Chazen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Witalis Jaraczewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislaw Bobrowski's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Zbigniew Balonek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Jaraczewski having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Stanislaw Bobrowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŁKS Łódź fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. There was no doubt that ŁKS Łódź were the better team. ŁKS Łódź's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
