In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raków Częstochowa's goalkeeper Fabian Gabis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's Fryderyk Rode made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Gabis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Wieslaw Danisiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Zacharek got free with Aureliusz Majczyk in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Brodzki to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugon Smuskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Fryderyk Rode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Kaczeniak kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK's Herbert Arnista broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Raków Częstochowa's Fabian Gabis got control of the ball when Fryderyk Rode tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Gabis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Brodzki in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, ZKS STAL 1946 SANOK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Kempski to maneuver through the defense. In the 97thth minute of the game Slawomir Brodzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raków Częstochowa's Fabian Gabis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Slawomir Brodzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Gabis having to interfere.
