An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Panikowski in the 54th minute of play forced Biedronka Szczecin's goalkeeper Bogumil Werra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes legia warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Miromir Panikowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wit Pysz in the 58th managed to get into a good position. In the 67th match minute, Biedronka Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Mentis to maneuver through the defense. Miromir Panikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bogumil Werra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. legia warszawa's Mieszko Dziurowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
