Mrka Gdańsk's Lucjan Wieczorek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Januszewski in the 8th minute of play. Igor Januszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Wieczorek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Januszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Januszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucjan Wieczorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mrka Gdańsk getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mariusz Drab hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Leonard Drozdowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Wieczorek. Mrka Gdańsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Drozdowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Mrka Gdańsk's Rafal Parajewski got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Walery Erland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czelatyce SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Erland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Wieczorek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Dombroski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tadeusz Kosowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Igor Dombroski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Drozdowski scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucjan Wieczorek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Czelatyce SA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edmund Sobania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Tipinski in the 54th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Leonard Drozdowski sped through Mrka Gdańsk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Wieczorek. In the 72nd minute, Leonard Drozdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Wieczorek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Igor Januszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lucjan Wieczorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Drozdowski got free with Lucjan Wieczorek in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, Czelatyce SA's Leonard Drozdowski made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Wieczorek was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Leonard Drozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Januszewski in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Wieczorek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonard Drozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucjan Wieczorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czelatyce SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
