Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Witomir Damazki started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Paliwodzizna SSA's Rafal Haszczak got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Herbert Chmelyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Malicki couldn't finish the play. Witomir Damazki came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dariusz Dziatkowski could save by the left post. Szymon Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Chmelyk in the 43rd minute of play. Dariusz Dziatkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Malicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Herbert Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After 51 minutes, Tobiasz Szarmach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zdrochec and the Paliwodzizna SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card.
