To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, one of FC Warta Śląsk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute Miroslaw Tychy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Polek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Dziurowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Wyrzykowski having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Dziurowicz got free with Stefan Wyrzykowski in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Lucjan Dziurowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Strzelino's goalkeeper Stefan Wyrzykowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Dziurowicz. Strzelino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Zachariasz Opat scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Wyrzykowski, making the score, 2-1. If Miroslaw Tychy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miroslaw Tychy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Adam Polek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patryk Rosiewicz's late challenge caught a FC Warta Śląsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Wyrzykowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patryk Rosiewicz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Miroslaw Tychy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Warta Śląsk's Adam Polek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Strzelino fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Warta Śląsk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
