An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Kieca in the 7th minute of play forced Wery SA's goalkeeper Zenon Kostrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robert Henryk fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons's protests and gave Robert Henryk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wery SA booed when Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Henryk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes Dragons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antoni Turacki who took care of the corner kick. In the 15th minute, Teofil Budzyn fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Tymoteusz Solibieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wery SA booed when Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Duszenski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wery SA's Tymoteusz Solibieda got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Robert Henryk was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. In the 29th minute, Robert Henryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Kieca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Kostrzewski having to interfere. When Leszek Zdeb fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wery SA's protests and gave Leszek Zdeb a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wery SA! Pawel Zerde shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Teofil Budzyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Igor Lewkowicz made a huge save. Wasyl Kieca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Dragons's Olaf Duszenski got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Cezary Puchlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Budzyn in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Dawid Ludwiczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wery SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dawid Ludwiczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Teofil Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Lewkowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Teofil Budzyn made a precise shot to the right of Igor Lewkowicz. Dragons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Teofil Budzyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Lewkowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Budzyn ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Dragons getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Ligas hit a great ball. Wery SA's Antoni Turacki couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dragons. In the 98th minute, Teofil Budzyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
