He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Postolin SA reached it. Zukowo SA's Kazimierz Zbikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Lisewski in the 25th minute of play. When Krzysztof Poreda came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Postolin SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krzysztof Poreda couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Postolin SA's Borys Wisniewski tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Postolin SA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Lisewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
