Spectators: 7327 (Terracing: 5539, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 90) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Boruc Dylla took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edgar Polek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Emil Gollob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Kostry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Malicki to maneuver through the defense. Kostry's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Iwan Pietras scored to the left of an out of position Emil Gollob, making the score, 1-0. Boruc Dylla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Kostry's Waldemar Gonsiewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franciszek Dziewulski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Gonsiewski in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Dziewulski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kostry's Boruc Dylla in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dublin United's goalie prevented a goal. Cyprian Rasialdo's late challenge caught a Dublin United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyprian Rasialdo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dublin United booed when Kostry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Rasialdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edgar Polek fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dublin United's protests and gave Edgar Polek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Boruc Dylla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dublin United's Edgar Polek got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Edgar Polek off the ground. Waldemar Gonsiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Franciszek Dziewulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Waldemar Gonsiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Gonsiewski got free with Franciszek Dziewulski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Pietras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Gollob having to interfere. If Waldemar Gonsiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Boruc Dylla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kostry's supporters rose to their feet, but Boruc Dylla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Dziewulski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th play minute Waldemar Gonsiewski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Franciszek Dziewulski. 1-2. In the last second Franciszek Dziewulski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Boruc Dylla in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Waldemar Gonsiewskis short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Franciszek Dziewulski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Waldemar Gonsiewski struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Franciszek Dziewulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kostry. After some careless play in the Dublin United defense, Boruc Dylla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Dziewulski. The Dublin United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Dziewulski should have stopped the shot. Cezary Raschke hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dublin United's zone, Boruc Dylla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Dziewulski came out of the goal and Boruc Dylla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Boruc Dylla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Dziewulski was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Kostry's Boruc Dylla got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Kostry left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dublin United.
