Naguszewo SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dublin United the free kick. Edgar Polek scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Augustyniak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Naguszewo SSA's Roman Augustyniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Pietras in the 27th minute of play. If Iwan Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes of play Naguszewo SSA's Lucjan Jaworski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Dublin United booed when Naguszewo SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Jaworski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Wladyslaw Cebula shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Augustyniak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Filip Marud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Edgar Polek made the kick off in the second half. Iwan Pietras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Roman Augustyniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Emil Dziura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naguszewo SSA and the Dublin United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Dziura kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Wladyslaw Cebula was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emil Dziura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Dziewulski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes Dublin United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenon Orling who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zenon Orling almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dublin United's Franciszek Dziewulski did a great save. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Polek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Naguszewo SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Dziura to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Iwan Pietras fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roman Augustyniak, passed just outside the right post. After 88 played minutes Naguszewo SSA got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Harbaszewski. Iwan Pietras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Augustyniak having to interfere. Iwan Pietras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Roman Augustyniak made a huge save.
