The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Sporok SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Bochinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerzy Pyczkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbyszko Gondela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wincenty Pysz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BARCELONA's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Pysz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasyl Malewicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerzy Pyczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Malewicki having to interfere. In the 34th minute Leon Mnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC BARCELONA's Jan Borcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Gondela in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincenty Pysz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wasyl Malewicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Pyczkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute, Edward Klawki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leon Mnich sped through FC BARCELONA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Borcz. Jan Borcz was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Zbyszko Gondela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zbyszko Gondela really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 67 minutes into the game, Marian Majusiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BARCELONA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporok SSA the free kick. After 67 played minutes FC BARCELONA got a freekick which was hit by Marian Majusiak. Leon Mnich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Leon Mnich put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Borcz. Leon Mnich's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Borcz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jan Borcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Gondela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Zbyszko Gondela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Sporok SSA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC BARCELONA.
