Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliusz Borcz started the match with the kick off. Jakub Tyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juliusz Borcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ryszard Gall made a huge save. After 7 played minutes Sparta Brodnica got a freekick which was hit by Marek Rekowski. Krzysztof Knopek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Ryszard Gall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ryszard Gall made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Krzysztof Knopek sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 12 minutes, Jakub Tyski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparta Brodnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Tyski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakub Tyski during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Staffelde booed when Sparta Brodnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Tyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Gall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Staffelde's Jaroslaw Slazak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Tyski in the 21st minute of play. Ludomir Kiepski charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomir Kiepski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Staffelde got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Kiepski. After some careless play in the Sparta Brodnica defense, Krzysztof Knopek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryszard Gall. The Sparta Brodnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryszard Gall should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Skaradowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ryszard Gall. Mikolaj Skaradowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Krzysztof Knopek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ryszard Gall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakub Tyski was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Juliusz Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juliusz Borcz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Staffelde's Juliusz Borcz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juliusz Borcz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Gall having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Miromir Kalak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Kalak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryszard Gall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Borcz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Sparta Brodnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Falk to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Hugon Czubski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Sparta Brodnica's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Borcz came free, but Ryszard Gall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sparta Brodnica's Ryszard Gall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Knopek in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Mikolaj Skaradowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Gall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Knopek in the 91st minute of play forced Sparta Brodnica's goalkeeper Ryszard Gall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Staffelde got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Ryback. The audience held their breath when Olaf Furgal in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jaroslaw Slazak's left hand side. When Hugon Czubski fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sparta Brodnica's protests and gave Hugon Czubski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Staffelde booed when Sparta Brodnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Czubski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Staffelde had won after a very even match.
