Konrad Wysocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Kinic having to interfere. If Janusz Plucinik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Wysocki in the 41st minute of play forced FC Dębiec Poznań's goalkeeper Mateusz Kinic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Kilarski in the 44th minute of the match. Hieronim Spychalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Galaxy's goalkeeper Lukasz Glembin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Napoleon Kilarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
