FC Dębiec Poznań's Iwo Lichorobiec got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Zarobski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Franzik. Gonice SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikolaj Zarobski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match, Lukasz Dytrych tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mateusz Kinic saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zenon Waselenczuk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Dębiec Poznań! 24 minutes into the match, FC Dębiec Poznań's goalkeeper Mateusz Kinic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Kociniewski. The audience was convinced that Mikolaj Zarobski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lech Franzik was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. FC Dębiec Poznań's Mikolaj Zarobski got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Franzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Zarobski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Bogumil Badanowski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Dębiec Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogumil Badanowski couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Gonice SA's zone, Mikolaj Zarobski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Franzik came out of the goal and Mikolaj Zarobski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Lukasz Dytrych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Kociniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikolaj Zarobski to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Gonice SA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Malicki. Lech Franzik was a little too slow when Bogumil Badanowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 60th minute Boguslaw Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dębiec Poznań's Mateusz Kinic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Dytrych in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Konrad Borcz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateusz Kinic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mikolaj Zarobski struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lech Franzik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dębiec Poznań. Stanislaw Wasikowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lech Franzik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislaw Wasikowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikolaj Zarobski in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Franzik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikolaj Zarobski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonice SA's Lech Franzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Gonice SA from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Lukasz Dytrych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukasz Dytrych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Dębiec Poznań played a much better game than Gonice SA and deserved their victory. The Gonice SA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
