Bogdan Malewicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Piesciuk's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. When Kajetan Wieczorek came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jankowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Wieczorek couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jankowo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kryspin Bartoszek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Błękitni Trzygłów's Iwan Miarka got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Slawomir Pietrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jankowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Pietrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Edward Bambas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 18 minutes, Juliusz Marczyniec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jankowo and the Błękitni Trzygłów players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Jankowo got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Marczyniec. In the 20th minute of the match Tymoteusz Furlit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Malewicki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Waclaw Piesciuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Jankowo's Slawomir Pietrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryszard Wojtyna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Edward Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Błękitni Trzygłów's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Bambas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Malewicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kryspin Bartoszek in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Wojtyna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes, Borys Pincoski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błękitni Trzygłów and the Jankowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kajetan Wieczorek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ryszard Wojtyna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Jankowo's Bogdan Malewicki got control of the ball when Edward Bambas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waclaw Piesciuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It was a penalty for Jankowo!
