After 78 minutes of play, Suchodół SHDL Krosno's Radomir Kossakowski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Izydor Czerny could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Jerzy Lepucki however easily saved by the left post. When Izydor Czerny came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Czerny couldn't finish the play. Jerzy Lepucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izydor Czerny in the 97th minute. After 98 minutes, Olgierd Pankowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suchodół SHDL Krosno and the Ruch Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card.
