Roland Frodyma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Gacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zygmuntówka's Roland Frodyma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Gacki in the 12th minute of play. Ryszard Poremba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Roland Frodyma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Frodyma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Gacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Tanek Gacki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Frodyma was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Lech Kolano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Bakes in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Orzechowce's zone, Walery Bakes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Kolano came out of the goal and Walery Bakes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ryszard Poremba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orzechowce's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Poremba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Frodyma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tanek Gacki struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Roland Frodyma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orzechowce. The supporters of Orzechowce booed when Zygmuntówka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Brodzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pankracy Drozdowski fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zygmuntówka's protests and gave Pankracy Drozdowski a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Zygmuntówka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orzechowce:s goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Orzechowce walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
