Rafal Pietras charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafal Pietras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gusinchen booed when Pirates FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Pietras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartlomiej Niemoj during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Gusinchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Niemoj to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gusinchen's zone, Iwo Kornecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurand Cieliczka came out of the goal and Iwo Kornecki tried to chip the ball over his head. Jurand Cieliczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Lizewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Gusinchen's Hugon Zatorski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Czeslaw Starogardzki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
