The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafal Milan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gryf Wejherowo's Boguslaw Dresik couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zelz SA. If Rafal Wawro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariusz Majorski charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariusz Majorski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gryf Wejherowo! In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Zelz SA. Remigiusz Furtok stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kryspin Majdoch. 0-1. Mariusz Majorski got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 28th minute Jaroslaw Jestrimski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Majdoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Majdoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Jestrimski in the 30th minute of play. Dobromir Kempka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Majdoch having to interfere. Jaroslaw Jestrimski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Zelz SA got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Gomolka. Jaroslaw Jestrimski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kryspin Majdoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Wawro to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaroslaw Jestrimski might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Majdoch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaroslaw Jestrimski ran back to his position shaking his head. Gryf Wejherowo's Kryspin Majdoch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gryf Wejherowo from getting a goal against them. If Dobromir Kempka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Kempka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslaw Jestrimski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kryspin Majdoch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Zelz SA's Dobromir Kempka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kryspin Majdoch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gryf Wejherowo's Rafal Wawro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Jestrimski in the 93rd minute of play forced Gryf Wejherowo's goalkeeper Kryspin Majdoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Zelz SA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gryf Wejherowo.
