Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Konrad Ziombkowski got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Stal Stalowa Wola booed when Parchatka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Maciejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Konrad Ziombkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parchatka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Ziombkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Ziombkowski in the 14th minute of play forced Stal Stalowa Wola's goalkeeper Leszek Turok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Parchatka's Edmund Zbytniewski got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Ziombkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leszek Turok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With his leg Leszek Turok managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Parchatka's Edmund Zbytniewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Ziombkowski in the 26th minute of play forced Stal Stalowa Wola's goalkeeper Leszek Turok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Turok made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Edmund Zbytniewski sent off a good shot on target. Edmund Zbytniewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leszek Turok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Zywiec in the 31st minute of play forced Parchatka's goalkeeper Jerzy Dobrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Lucjan Zywiec put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jerzy Dobrowski. After a defensive mix-up in Stal Stalowa Wola's zone, Konrad Ziombkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leszek Turok came out of the goal and Konrad Ziombkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stal Stalowa Wola's Leszek Turok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Ziombkowski in the 40th minute of play. Konrad Ziombkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Turok having to interfere. The Parchatka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stal Stalowa Wola were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Lucjan Zywiec made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Edmund Zbytniewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leszek Turok was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, one of Parchatka:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute, Edmund Zbytniewski made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Turok. Stal Stalowa Wola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Gwidon Sakowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Dobrowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Sakowicz in the 81st minute. Leszek Turok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Ziombkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Ziombkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Turok having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Gwidon Sakowicz lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Jerzy Dobrowski. Gwidon Sakowicz struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Jerzy Dobrowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stal Stalowa Wola. The Stal Stalowa Wola supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stal Stalowa Wola would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
