In the 6th minute Bernard Skikiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Strzelec Gdynia's zone, Krzysztof Ludzia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Gaszynski came out of the goal and Krzysztof Ludzia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Krzysztof Ludzia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strzelec Gdynia's Lucjan Gaszynski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot by Dariusz Kiepski from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Lucjan Gaszynski's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wincenty Kajdasz charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wincenty Kajdasz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Strzelec Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Kajdasz to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Gaszynski was a little too slow when Bernard Skikiewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 29th minute, Wincenty Kajdasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslaw Brytka, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Strzelec Gdynia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Witalis Paprotny hit a great ball. Slawomir Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Ziemniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Niederhorst's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Zawada came free, but Slawomir Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Olaf Zawada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strzelec Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Zawada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slawomir Lewkowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olaf Zawada was the one to do the kick off. Slawomir Lewkowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olaf Zawada's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Strzelec Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Ludzia came free, but Lucjan Gaszynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Gaszynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Ludzia in the 61st minute of the match. If Bernard Skikiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulryk Ziemniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Krzysztof Ludzia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niederhorst's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Olaf Zawada scored to the left of an out of position Slawomir Lewkowicz, making the score, 1-1. Olaf Zawada struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Slawomir Lewkowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strzelec Gdynia. 82 minutes into the match, Niederhorst's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Zawada came free, but Slawomir Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ulryk Ziemniak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slawomir Lewkowicz. Niederhorst's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulryk Ziemniak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Bernard Skikiewicz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lucjan Gaszynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niederhorst. The Niederhorst supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strzelec Gdynia's performance. The match ended with a win for Strzelec Gdynia.
