When Arkadiusz Cebula, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bogumil Kostrzewa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Arkadiusz Cebula came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FCG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Cebula couldn't finish the play. If Leon Burowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Letniki SA's Iwan Kosowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zygmunt Furgat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FCG's zone, Iwan Kosowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Furgat came out of the goal and Iwan Kosowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FCG's Zygmunt Furgat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Burowski in the 42nd minute of play. Zygmunt Furgat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Kosowski in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Cebula to make the kick off. Leon Burowskis short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Zygmunt Furgat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leon Burowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Furgat made a huge save. Iwan Kosowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zygmunt Furgat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Trzaskoma to maneuver through the defense. Leon Burowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Kosowski in the 62nd minute of play forced FCG's goalkeeper Zygmunt Furgat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FCG's Zygmunt Furgat got control of the ball when Leon Burowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iwan Kosowski scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Furgat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Leon Burowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Iwan Kosowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, FCG's goalkeeper Zygmunt Furgat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Burowski. FCG's Zygmunt Furgat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Kosowski in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Arkadiusz Cebula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Leon Burowski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FCG's Zygmunt Furgat. Zygmunt Furgat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
