The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bartosz Kuszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Radoslaw Jaktorowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoslaw Jaktorowo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Rzegotka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konrad Rakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Bienienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Pluciennik having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Znicz SA's zone, Waldemar Marchewka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Jaktorowo came out of the goal and Waldemar Marchewka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Znicz SA's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Kuszczak came free, but Radoslaw Jaktorowo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Pluciennik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Bienienda in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Czerwinski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Pluciennik saved Strychy from getting behind. Radoslaw Jaktorowo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Jarocewicz in the 33rd minute of the match. Krzysztof Pluciennik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Bienienda in the 34th minute of play. Konrad Rakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Radoslaw Jarocewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strychy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benedykt Czerwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Pluciennik having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Czerwinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedykt Czerwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Pluciennik having to interfere. Radoslaw Jaktorowo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartosz Kuszczak in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Znicz SA's Ulryk Gardocki got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Znicz SA's zone, Radoslaw Jarocewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Jaktorowo came out of the goal and Radoslaw Jarocewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radoslaw Jaktorowo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartosz Kuszczak got free with Radoslaw Jaktorowo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Pluciennik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Ochabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Konrad Rakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Znicz SA's Ulryk Gardocki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Radoslaw Jarocewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Jaktorowo having to interfere. If Bartosz Kuszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedykt Czerwinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krzysztof Pluciennik having to make a save. Boruc Ochabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Pluciennik having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Gilbert Bienienda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Znicz SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Bienienda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Znicz SA's Ulryk Gardocki got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Radoslaw Jarocewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strychy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radoslaw Jarocewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Konrad Rakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Znicz SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Rakowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Pluciennik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Strychy echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Znicz SA had held the ball for most of the match.
