Spectators: 5106 (Terracing: 4004, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roland Kaszubowski got the match started through his kick off. Edward Bienienda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Dlugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Kilarski was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Roland Kaszubowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roland Kaszubowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Petrochemia Płock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Gongola to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Groschowitz SA's Walery Tuliszewski tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Sliwinski in the 20th minute of play forced Petrochemia Płock's goalkeeper Edward Bienienda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Groschowitz SA got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Zurawski. Radomir Dlugi took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Bienienda. Edward Bienienda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Petrochemia Płock's Edward Bienienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Sliwinski in the 29th minute of play. If Gustaw Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Kilarski came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Petrochemia Płock's Gustaw Tomiczek. But to his dismay, Gustaw Tomiczek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Radomir Dlugi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karol Sliwinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Bienienda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karol Sliwinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcin Kossakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcin Kossakowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Petrochemia Płock got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Kossakowski. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomir Dlugi was the one to do the kick off. If Marcin Kossakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Petrochemia Płock's zone, Radomir Dlugi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Bienienda came out of the goal and Radomir Dlugi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaw Tomiczek might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Kilarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaw Tomiczek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Roland Kaszubowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petrochemia Płock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Marcin Kossakowski got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Karol Sliwinski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roland Kaszubowski hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Petrochemia Płock's Czeslaw Kempka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Walery Tuliszewski made a great header on Groschowitz SA's corner, it was just that Petrochemia Płock's Edward Bienienda managed to reach the ball for a save. Gustaw Tomiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Groschowitz SA's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Tomiczek came free, but Bogdan Kilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustaw Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Petrochemia Płock fans cheered their team off the field, for while Groschowitz SA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
