The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olaf Rojewski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Wichura Korczyna's Marek Bronkala shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, SPALONY's Sylwester Gdowski got a free kick in the 11th minute. Marek Bronkala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Rojewski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Smolarek in the 27th minute of play forced SPALONY's goalkeeper Olaf Rojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, SPALONY's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Bronkala came free, but Olaf Rojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Gdowski hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Olaf Rojewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Bronkala in the 37th minute of play. If Dominik Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wichura Korczyna's Marek Bronkala got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olaf Rojewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Bronkala's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Dominik Smolarek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Wichura Korczyna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half FC Wichura Korczyna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Bronkala to make the kick off. FC Wichura Korczyna's Dominik Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Bronkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Wichura Korczyna fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when FC Wichura Korczyna's Marek Bronkala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 78 played minutes SPALONY got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Malewicz. Olaf Rojewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Sylwester Gdowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Bronkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SPALONY's zone, Dominik Smolarek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Rojewski came out of the goal and Dominik Smolarek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dominik Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
