Stefan Skikiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Juliusz Naumowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tymoteusz Giejda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Rzentkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Ziemowit Gierasik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Tymoteusz Giejda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Rzentkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ziemowit Gierasik took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juliusz Podwojski. Juliusz Podwojski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izydor Nakoneczny during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Rafa SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Nakoneczny to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Juliusz Naumowicz made a precise shot to the right of Kazimierz Rzentkowski. Perła Gdańsk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Perła Gdańsk's Stefan Skikiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Tymoteusz Giejda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Rzentkowski. Perła Gdańsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tymoteusz Giejda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Perła Gdańsk's Stefan Skikiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Tadeusz Pryputnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Kazimierz Rzentkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Naumowicz in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Perła Gdańsk's Tadeusz Pryputnicki got a free kick in the 64th minute. Juliusz Naumowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Rzentkowski having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Rafa SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Grajewski to maneuver through the defense. If Juliusz Naumowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rafa SSA booed when Perła Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Rzentkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Giejda in the 81st minute of play. Juliusz Podwojski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziemowit Gierasik went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Naumowicz got free with Kazimierz Rzentkowski in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafa SSA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
