The Legia Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, KS Feniks's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Dawiec came free, but Miromir Wysocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Podwojski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miromir Wysocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Podwojski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Legia Warszawa booed when KS Feniks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Zdeb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Bernard Podwojski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Feniks's Miromir Wysocki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miromir Wysocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Bernard Podwojski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After a defensive mix-up in KS Feniks's zone, Tomasz Rosiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miromir Wysocki came out of the goal and Tomasz Rosiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miromir Wysocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Podwojski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Miromir Wysocki made a huge save. If Przemyslaw Wierzchowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legia Warszawa's Wincent Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Piglowski in the 70th minute of play. When KS Feniks's Zachary Kopacz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Legia Warszawa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
