Zbigniew Loncki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Gacki having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Fink got free with Damazy Gacki in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Juliusz Fink recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damazy Gacki. Juliusz Fink showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Janusz Burowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Treppa in the 24th minute of play. Janusz Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Treppa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the game Filip Pilitowski made a throw-in which Boguslaw Henryk played forward. A collision led to Węgorki FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Witalis Majerowicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Fink in the 36th minute of play forced Sentinels's goalkeeper Damazy Gacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimierz Treppa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Henryk was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliusz Fink in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Gacki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boguslaw Henryk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Burowski having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sentinels's Janusz Burowski threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boguslaw Henryk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 80 played minutes Węgorki FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Rydzewski. Sentinels's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 81st minute of the game, when Bogumil Zarobski after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Węgorki FC's goal. Bogumil Zarobski was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. A collision led to Węgorki FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Witalis Nieruchliwy hit a great ball. Juliusz Fink struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Damazy Gacki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Węgorki FC. Witold Bochynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witold Bochynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Damazy Gacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Węgorki FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sentinels to win.
