The audience was convinced that Ksawery Maruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piotr Puszynski was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Milosz Ciempa's late challenge caught a KS Naprzód Grodzisk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milosz Ciempa helped the player get up and apologised. Milosz Ciempa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ksawery Maruda made a precise shot to the right of Piotr Puszynski. Ks Leśnik Baligród's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, KS Naprzód Grodzisk's Ksawery Maruda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piotr Puszynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of KS Naprzód Grodzisk booed when Ks Leśnik Baligród was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Ciempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ksawery Maruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Waldoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Puszynski having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Cezary Waldoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Waldoch during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KS Naprzód Grodzisk getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cezary Waldoch hit a great ball. Gustaw Chlebek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Hyska in the 47th minute. After the first half KS Naprzód Grodzisk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zdzislaw Labus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KS Naprzód Grodzisk getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wieslaw Cymbal hit a great ball. When Bogumil Mosiniak was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. 57 minutes into the match, Ks Leśnik Baligród's Szczepan Hyska sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaw Chlebek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cezary Waldoch struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Piotr Puszynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Naprzód Grodzisk. Cezary Waldoch took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Puszynski. Piotr Puszynski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 75 minutes of play KS Naprzód Grodzisk's Cezary Waldoch was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 76th minute, Cezary Waldoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Szczepan Hyska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Chlebek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Chlebek came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ks Leśnik Baligród's Zdzislaw Labus. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Labus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. KS Naprzód Grodzisk's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
