Wlodzimierz Czech hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Edmund Cisek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Cisek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mieszko Jarocewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mieszko Jarocewicz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Tanek Bronkala sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 11 minutes, Tanek Bronkala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Bronkala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Cisek in the 13th minute of play forced Przeworsk's goalkeeper Mieszko Jarocewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Bronkala scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Jarocewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Jerzy Mitus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edmund Cisek took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mieszko Jarocewicz to make any attempt to save it. Mieszko Jarocewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanek Bronkala in the 38th minute. Tanek Bronkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Jerzy Mitus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Przeworsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Warszawa the free kick. Jerzy Mitus kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mieszko Jarocewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Czech in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa's Mieszko Bryk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Jarocewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Mieszko Jarocewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Cisek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner. Pankracy Lagiewniki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Wlodzimierz Czech got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 62 minutes into the match. Tanek Bronkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Jarocewicz having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's Wlodzimierz Czech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mieszko Jarocewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Edmund Cisek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Jarocewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Przeworsk's Roman Prus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roman Prus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Przeworsk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roman Prus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Przeworsk! 96 minutes into the match, Przeworsk's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Czech came free, but Mieszko Jarocewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Legia Warszawa had played much better football throughout.
