Staszówka's Olaf Grucza got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerzy Malik to strike the kick off in the second half. Wincenty Basinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Grucza in the 56th minute of play. Wit Rybak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wincenty Basinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Grucza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC CERGOWA's zone, Wit Rybak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincenty Basinski came out of the goal and Wit Rybak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arkadiusz Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Hetman having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Arkadiusz Wnukowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CERGOWA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Arkadiusz Wnukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
