Konrad Odachowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jagiellonia Białystok booed when Polonia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Janiczek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Jagiellonia Białystok got a corner. Polonia Warszawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beniamin Niedziela ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Jagiellonia Białystok's corner Beniamin Niedziela fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boleslaw Pasterski quite easily take care of the ball. Konrad Odachowskis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Boleslaw Pasterski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Antoni Janiczek fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polonia Warszawa's protests and gave Antoni Janiczek a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Konrad Odachowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Boleslaw Pasterski to make any attempt to save it. Edmund Zahemski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boleslaw Pasterski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Konrad Odachowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Boleslaw Pasterski made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Edmund Zahemski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Boleslaw Pasterski, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Polonia Warszawa's zone, Tymoteusz Brytan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boleslaw Pasterski came out of the goal and Tymoteusz Brytan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Warszawa's goalkeeper Boleslaw Pasterski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Bubczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmund Zahemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Janiczek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Nakonieczny having to interfere. With a little luck, Jagiellonia Białystok's Wladyslaw Nakonieczny got control of the ball when Radoslaw Cichewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boleslaw Pasterski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Zahemski in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute Edmund Zahemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boleslaw Pasterski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Zahemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jagiellonia Białystok's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
