The Starosiedle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Polonia Warszawa's Radoslaw Cichewski got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Starosiedle getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Damazy Skorny hit a great ball. Boleslaw Pasterski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Urban went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Starosiedle were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Bubczyk made a kick off. When Mieszko Rosen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Starosiedle's protests and gave Mieszko Rosen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Polonia Warszawa booed when Starosiedle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Czapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Boleslaw Pasterski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czapski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Fabian Czapski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Starosiedle supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Starosiedle would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
