Stalowa Wola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lukasz Gdowski struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Miroslaw Owsiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLANTY Giganty. Karol Kendra's late challenge caught a Stalowa Wola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karol Kendra helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stalowa Wola booed when PLANTY Giganty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Kendra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukasz Gdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Owsiak having to interfere. When Norbert Mlekodaj fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLANTY Giganty's protests and gave Norbert Mlekodaj a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PLANTY Giganty's Norbert Mlekodaj got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Kacper Makowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julian Parajewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roch Zahemski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ziemowit Kojder was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Kojder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stalowa Wola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PLANTY Giganty the free kick. The supporters of PLANTY Giganty booed when Stalowa Wola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Kojder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play, PLANTY Giganty's Lukasz Gdowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslaw Owsiak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miroslaw Owsiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gdowski went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Stalowa Wola's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Kendra came free, but Miroslaw Owsiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half PLANTY Giganty were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kacper Makowski to make the kick off. If Lukasz Gdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Kendra in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Owsiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Stalowa Wola's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lukasz Gdowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Karol Kendra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miroslaw Owsiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gdowski went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Miroslaw Owsiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Kendra in the 70th minute of play. If Lukasz Gdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julian Parajewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Makowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Kendra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Miroslaw Owsiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PLANTY Giganty booed when Stalowa Wola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Sanocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Karol Kendra managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLANTY Giganty's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Kendra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Owsiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Stalowa Wola fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PLANTY Giganty were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
