Wasyl Nocny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Furtok having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Milosz Ranowiecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Milosz Ranowiecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Chazen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roch Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Siekierski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Ranowiecki got free with Roch Chazen in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wasyl Nocny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milosz Ranowiecki in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roch Chazen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Real Katowice's Roch Chazen got control of the ball when Milosz Ranowiecki tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Ludomil Golota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomil Golota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wasyl Nocny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radomir Furtok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Nocny's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Milosz Ranowiecki ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 minutes, Remigiusz Marchlewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Katowice and the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Real Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Marchlewicz. Wasyl Nocny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Siekierski in the 88th minute of play forced Real Katowice's goalkeeper Roch Chazen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jurand Siekierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Teobald Nowacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Milosz Ranowiecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
