The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tadeusz Cieliczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sparta Gryfice's Robert Gondela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sparta Gryfice from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Dziura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sparta Gryfice's zone, Ignacy Cuber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Gondela came out of the goal and Ignacy Cuber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sparta Gryfice eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
