Ryszard Mazurkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ryszard Mazurkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Prusek having to make a save. Iwan Prusek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Pawlik in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Korneliusz Filipowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Obra and the FC Iskra Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Obra getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Korneliusz Filipowski hit a great ball. If Franciszek Blochowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC Iskra Chorzów booed when FC Obra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Filipowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franciszek Blochowiak struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fabian Nowakowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Iskra Chorzów. In the 26th minute, FC Obra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Franciszek Blochowiak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 33 minutes into the match, FC Iskra Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Pawlik came free, but Iwan Prusek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Mazurkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Iwan Prusek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Aleksander Pacholewski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Aleksander Pacholewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Nowakowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleksander Pacholewski ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Zachary Pawlik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Obra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Pawlik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ryszard Mazurkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Iskra Chorzów's Iwan Prusek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Iskra Chorzów from getting a goal against them. Aleksander Pacholewski scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Nowakowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Aleksander Pacholewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Nowakowski. FC Obra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Pacholewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 83 minutes into the game, Izydor Derlanga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Obra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Iskra Chorzów the free kick. Izydor Derlanga hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Ryszard Mazurkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Obra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Mazurkiewicz couldn't finish the play. FC Iskra Chorzów's Iwan Prusek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Pawlik in the 89th minute of play.
