The audience was convinced that Stanislaw Gierlach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Olejasz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Ciechocki in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Olejasz saved Siemianów SA from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Stanislaw Gierlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metalurg 2022 Nowa Huta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Gierlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siemianów SA's Marian Olejasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Ciechocki in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Siemianów SA's Michal Buczak got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Grzegorz Ciechocki made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Ciechocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marian Olejasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Ciechocki's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Wlodzimierz Gniewek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Pawel Charamut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Gargasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pawel Charamut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stanislaw Gierlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Metalurg 2022 Nowa Huta. Damian Gargasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Charamut, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Damian Gargasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Gniewek's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Metalurg 2022 Nowa Huta's Damian Gargasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Charamut in the 97th minute of play.
