After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 58 minutes, Jerzy Dudkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosskarlshof SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Dudkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Jerzy Dudkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lisewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Team Name's Jaroslaw Lenertej, in the 87th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Team Name. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grosskarlshof SSA had won after a very even match.
