Borys Debowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Prokowski having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Jerzy Bielatowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Tychy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Bielatowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jerzy Bielatowicz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GKS Tychy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Bielatowicz couldn't finish the play. Witalis Prokowski was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Borys Debowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Borys Debowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Chants of GKS Tychy echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as La Masia had held the ball for most of the match.
