Gieksa GKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnaba Klawke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Leszno booed when Gieksa GKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Rekowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobald Czciborek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kacper Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teobald Czciborek fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leszno's protests and gave Teobald Czciborek a yellow card for diving instead. If Juliusz Buczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Kaczanka's late challenge caught a Gieksa GKS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Kaczanka helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leszno getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bernard Kaczanka hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gieksa GKS's Radowit Pankiewicz tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Juliusz Buczko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobromir Panikowski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Radowit Pankiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juliusz Buczko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dobromir Panikowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Arkadiusz Kalemba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kacper Oleszak having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Wlodyga to make the kick off. If Juliusz Buczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobald Czciborek scored 1-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kacper Oleszak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Mariusz Wlodyga in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 73rd minute, Wiktor Kilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juliusz Buczko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Leszno's Arkadiusz Kalemba got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dobromir Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Buczko, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Bernard Kaczanka was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd minute, Bernard Kaczanka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Juliusz Buczko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gieksa GKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Juliusz Buczko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobromir Panikowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hieronim Zapolski's late challenge caught a Gieksa GKS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hieronim Zapolski helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leszno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Gieksa GKS. Radowit Pankiewicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dobromir Panikowski. 1-1. 90 minutes into the game, Wiktor Kilar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gieksa GKS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leszno the free kick. A collision led to Gieksa GKS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wiktor Kilar hit a great ball. Wiktor Kilar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dobromir Panikowski made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
