In the 37thth minute of the game Ludomir Majczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dubeningen's Eugeniusz Posadzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witold Jucha kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Paraszczuk in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marek Paraszczuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dubeningen's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Paraszczuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Przemyslaw Dembkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

53 minutes in the game, Ludomir Majczyk dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Setara in the 55th minute of play forced Dubeningen's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Posadzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dubeningen's Marek Paraszczuk got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Radoslaw Setara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dubeningen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grommels SSA.
