Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludomir Szpakowski started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Zachariasz Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lech Poznań's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Waselewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Borczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wlodzimierz Pietras charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Pietras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Pietras. Edison Cavani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Szpakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Wlodzimierz Pietras took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Borczak. Fabian Borczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dariusz Bartocha's late challenge caught a Gods's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dariusz Bartocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Bartocha to maneuver through the defense. When Dariusz Bartocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lech Poznań's Dariusz Bartocha got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ludomir Szpakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludomir Szpakowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edison Cavani came out and tried to block the shot, but Ludomir Szpakowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 35th minute. When Lucjan Galus fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gods's protests and gave Lucjan Galus a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Gods got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Galus. The supporters of Lech Poznań booed when Gods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Zbydniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, Lech Poznań's Sabir Muminov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Borczak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lech Poznań reached it. Edison Cavani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Piczak in the 47th minute. The Gods players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lech Poznań were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachariasz Waselewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ryszard Solibieda hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gods's Fabian Borczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gods from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Gods booed when Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Czeberowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lech Poznań's zone, Leszek Koczara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edison Cavani came out of the goal and Leszek Koczara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zachariasz Waselewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Borczak having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Zachariasz Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lech Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariasz Waselewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zachariasz Waselewicz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Fabian Borczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech Poznań. Igor Piczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edison Cavani having to interfere. After 83rd play minutes Ludomir Szpakowski shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Edison Cavani and just under the crossbar into goal. If Wlodzimierz Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the game, Leszek Koczara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gods's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lech Poznań the free kick. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gods! The goalkeeper, Fabian Borczak, was totally fooled by Lech Poznań's Sabir Muminov, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lech Poznań had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
