With an all-out effort, Szyk's Edgar Kloczko threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maksymilian Tomaka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Szyk's Boruc Solibieda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Mierzejewski in the 18th minute of play. Dawid Radzyminski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Szyk's corner Dawid Radzyminski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgar Kloczko quite easily take care of the ball. Napoleon Milko struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Edgar Kloczko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szyk.
