The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Marciewicz got free with Radowit Gotfryd in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Górnik Zabrze's zone, Wawrzyniec Raflewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Gondela came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Raflewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wawrzyniec Raflewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Gondela having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Marciewicz got free with Radowit Gotfryd in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24thth minute of the game Norbert Kaznocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Górnik Zabrze's Ziemowit Gondela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Wawrzyniec Raflewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Radegrund SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Korneliusz Fleszar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Norbert Kaznocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ziemowit Gondela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Górnik Zabrze's Ziemowit Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Kaznocha in the 36th minute of play. Ziemowit Gondela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Kaznocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Wawrzyniec Raflewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Gondela having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Maciej Filanowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radegrund SA and the Górnik Zabrze players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ziemowit Gondela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Kaznocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Górnik Zabrze's Ziemowit Gondela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Raflewski in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Korneliusz Fleszar to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Wawrzyniec Raflewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ziemowit Gondela was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The supporters of Górnik Zabrze booed when Radegrund SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Kaznocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Radegrund SA's Wawrzyniec Raflewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ziemowit Gondela. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. In the 87th minute, Wawrzyniec Raflewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ziemowit Gondela. The goal made the score 1-5. Radegrund SA played a much better game than Górnik Zabrze and deserved their victory. The Górnik Zabrze players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
