The referee ignored Wizany SSA's protests and gave Leszek Faron a yellow card for diving instead. Leszek Faron hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Torcida Piekary Śląskie's zone, Dobromir Pluciennik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Raszek came out of the goal and Dobromir Pluciennik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maksymilian Merski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Mieszko Bejger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wizany SSA's Dobromir Pluciennik got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanislaw Wincek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Wizany SSA booed when Torcida Piekary Śląskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Wincek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Wizany SSA's Zenon Mierzwa tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Torcida Piekary Śląskie's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Ratulowski came free, but Zdzislaw Raszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Torcida Piekary Śląskie got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Tamulewicz. After a defensive mix-up in Torcida Piekary Śląskie's zone, Witalis Ratulowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Raszek came out of the goal and Witalis Ratulowski tried to chip the ball over his head. Zdzislaw Raszek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Wizany SSA were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Torcida Piekary Śląskie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zenon Mierzwa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Zenon Mierzwa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zdzislaw Raszek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mieszko Bejger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Merski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Witalis Ratulowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Luty charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Luty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Torcida Piekary Śląskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Luty to maneuver through the defense. Zdzislaw Raszek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dobromir Pluciennik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 67 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Dobromir Pluciennik took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Zdzislaw Raszek to make any attempt to save it. Witalis Ratulowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mieszko Bejger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Merski in the 76th minute of the match. Dobromir Pluciennik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Raszek having to interfere. Zdzislaw Raszek was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Ludomir Walentowicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludomir Walentowicz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Zdzislaw Raszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Pluciennik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witalis Ratulowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dobromir Pluciennik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Raszek having to interfere.
