With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Lewandowski in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boruc Jestrimski saved Senyera from getting behind. In the 7th play minute Zdzislaw Pysz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Napoleon Grajewski. 1-0. After 13 played minutes, Legia Kijów's Florian Kostrzewa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boruc Jestrimski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Legia Kijów's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
