Podkowa SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Roman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Resel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Podkowa SSA's Boleslaw Makomaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Wodaszak in the 27th minute of play. The referee gave Podborcze a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Maksymilian Henryk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Podkowa SSA's Boleslaw Makomaski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boleslaw Makomaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Henryk in the 45th minute of play. Maksymilian Henryk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Boleslaw Makomaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
