The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobromir Karanowski scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Filanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Kopacz in the 10th minute of play forced Breitlinde's goalkeeper Borys Babicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Kopacz took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Babicki. Borys Babicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Filip Glogowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Filanowski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, L E C H Poznań's Bartlomiej Kon got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Breitlinde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tymoteusz Juszkowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jakub Kopacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Borys Babicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Babicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Kopacz in the 30th minute of the match. If Tymoteusz Juszkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Breitlinde's zone, Tymoteusz Juszkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Babicki came out of the goal and Tymoteusz Juszkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Filanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Glogowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, one of Breitlinde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dobromir Karanowski made a kick off. Breitlinde's Borys Babicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Kopacz in the 53rd minute of play. Tymoteusz Juszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Filanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Karanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Breitlinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Zukowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in L E C H Poznań's zone, Dobromir Karanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Filanowski came out of the goal and Dobromir Karanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tymoteusz Juszkowski sped through Breitlinde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Borys Babicki. Jakub Kopacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Jakub Kopacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The L E C H Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 85th minute, Maciej Laba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breitlinde's Dobromir Karanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, L E C H Poznań's Fabian Filanowski got control of the ball when Filip Glogowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tymoteusz Juszkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Babicki having to interfere. The supporters of L E C H Poznań booed when Breitlinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Drozdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. L E C H Poznań fully deserved thier win.
